The Role

With broad experience in the area of creating technology solutions and still an ever-growing appetite for new opportunities, at CSHARK we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our sales team and contribute to fulfilling the company`s goals.

You will become a part of the sales team which consists of Account Managers, Business Development Managers, Vendor Management and is led by Maciej Puchała – Head of Sales.

CSHARK is a digital consultancy firm that focuses on innovative products and made-to-measure solutions. We help enterprises with digital transformation and start-ups with turning ideas into products. We like to do things holistically — it’s all about finding a balance between business advisory, product design, and software development. Over the last year, we have made significant progress in our sales process, ensuring a better alignment with the strategy, revisiting the master process, and ensuring data-driven, decision making approach.

What you’ll do

Curious what will be your daily duties? Well, here’s a short breakthrough of your responsibilities:

  • Acquisition of new clients throughout the whole pipeline.
  • Uncovering opportunities and matching needs in the area of product and software creation.
  • Deep-dive into client’s product, needs, and business (both in technology and domain areas).
  • Face-to-face meetings with prospective clients (including high-profile decision-makers).
  • Cooperating with delivery team to create proposals and providing sales presentations.
  • Building value-added partnerships based on sales consultancy approach.
  • Leading or contributing to complex negotiations and the closing of new deals.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

What you’ll bring

  • You have proven 4+ sales experience in every stage of the sales lifecycle in Tech industry, backed up by numbers and a strong resume.
  • You have proven success in lead generation, prospecting, contract negotiation, and closing in a B2B environment in IT or previous consulting roles.
  • You are open-minded and have a goal-oriented mindset with the ability to ask relevant questions and be a servant leader.
  • You have good knowledge and understanding of project management and SDLC (scope, stages, team allocation, cost estimation).
  • You have experience in international, enterprise sales worldwide.
  • You know that “selling this pen” is not the way sales should work and instead you are passionate about discovering the real needs and pains of the client so that you can accurately answer and solve them.
  • You think strategically, learn fast, and possess both the can-do and hands-on attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including fluent written and spoken English (C1-C2 level), and Polish (minimum B2 level).
  • You are able to travel in Europe, the USA, and APAC.

  • You have strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • You have habit to set work standards and benchmarks and improve internal processes.
  • You like to share your knowledge and talk about your craft — both internally and during meet-ups and conferences.
  • You have domain knowledge in FinTech, technology sectors, or industrial manufacturing.

Recruitment process


Introductory call with a recruiter

Once your application and profile match our needs, the 1st step will be a call with Natalia from our Recruitment team. This will be a good chance for a mutual introduction and a short conversation about you & us.


First meeting

The selected candidates will then be invited to an interview with Maciej Puchała, Head of Sales at CSHARK. The interview will last about an hour and will mainly involve talking about your previous experience and sales craft.



If the interview goes well, you’ll be invited to do a short task. It will be based on what we do on a daily basis and the challenges we face so that you can also get a taste of what it’s like to work with us!


Second meeting

During the second interview, you’ll be asked to present the task which we’ll happily comment on and try to challenge. We’ll then proceed to ask more in-depth questions about your ways of working. We’ll reserve some time for you to ask your questions too.



The final step is dedicated to the future Business Development Manager at CSHARK — we’ll present our offer to you, and complete it with the paperwork.


Onboarding process

On the agreed start date, you’re going to be onboarded during a series of on-site trainings and workshops in our Wrocław office. Our Head of Sales and your buddy from the Sales team will guide you through all of the elements of our processes and offer structure to ensure you’re equipped with everything you need.
